Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, the PDP leader, Muzaffar Hussain Beig said, "To ensure free and fair probe Omar Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and Nasir Sogami should resign. Unless these people don't resign, evidence will be destroyed and probe would be hushed up."
Syed Mohammad Yusuf, a worker of the NC from Islamabad district, died in police custody after he was arrested and interrogated following two fellow party workers, Mohammad Yousuf Bhat of Ganderbal and Abdul Salam Reshi of Anantnag said that he had taken Rs 1.18 crore from them for getting them berths in the so-called Legislative Council.
Muzaffar Beig who was flanked by the PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti, said, "Syed died either in CM's residence or in hospital. This much is also established that CM personally interrogated Syed, Bhat and Reshi."
